A poem

I smell the rain
Petrichor it is called
The warm earthy scent
Sensed even before it pours

I hear the rain
Pitter-patter on my roof
The melodious rhythm it makes
A beautiful concerto to my ears

I see the rain
The sparkling crystal drops
Falling from the sky
Like tears of great joy

I taste the rain
As I stick my tongue out
To catch a drop
Tasting the crispiness
Refreshing to my palate

I love the rain
Its a blessing from the sky
Bestowed on the earth
For flourishing and nourishment
To us below
